Got It

Post by Quilter 2 »

Anyone who will listen.
I FINALLY GOT APPROVED FOR DISABILITY. After 2 years and some great advice, like get a different lawyer, get this book and ect., the new lawyer had me on in 2 months. The Jugement even stated that the Drs. that denied me before were wrong. That one honest statement meant more to me than the money. Mailnly cause the money is all going to drs and hospitals, but the statement will stay with me forever.
So, for all of those out there still fighting the fight, stick with it.
Thanks for letting me finally say something positvie about my PN crap.
Doreen

I agree. You really can't attach a price tag to peace of mind.
So, you've got a marathon month ahead of you. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

This is wonderful news, Doreen. Once again we see the value of persistence which along with optimism is the most important strategy for all of us. Look for that big check in the mail !

Karyn & Don;
Thank-you. The check won't be that big but I'm sure the docs will be glad that they don't have to wait to be paid!! I really wish I could say we're going on vacation but no such luck. Off to AZ to be reamed by 2 more PT's and docs :evil: Some of us are just plain lucky. HA HA
Thanks guys;
Doreen

Hey, congratulations, Doreen. This is great news! Maybe someday you will get to go on the vacation. :)
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Violet;
I told Rod that before I have surgery and get layed up for possibly 2 years, we're going somewhere. I really want to see all my friends in CT. Since I've had this PN crap, I haven't taken a joy ride that far away. One other thing is really bad, but I want to sit on our motorcycle and just go down the driveway and back up.
Thanks to you Violet and the whole bunch of PN'rs that wouldn't let me give up. There sure were days that I wanted to.
All of my very best;
Doreen
