Hi Violet there seems to be something wrong with my computer i cant post pvt message when i press submit it does not go through.
I have posted yesterday a msg on the nerve Block site my nerve block went off well. Lets see now i think i should give it some time to work . The radiologist said it went well and they give me two blocks one for alcock canal and second ischial spine. same places where i took it last time.
I am trying tto send a pvt msg to truth_seeker6 (on nerve block) site as he said he did the 3 tesla MRI scan in new delhi and I would like to know in which hospital, add and phone no so i can take an appointment and get it done as we still dont have 3 tesla in kolkata. Could you pls send him a pvt message and find out for me. Thanks

Mahzi, I don't think you want to post your e-mail publicly -- you probably want to edit that out. Do you get any type of error message when you try to send a private message? Describe what happens and maybe we can help you figure it out.

Thank you violet. Next time i will not post my email add. I hope it can be deleted. When i try to send a pvt messageI dont get any message the moment i press submit nothing happens the message just comes back. I have sent dr.. Bautrant all the questions he asked me now I am waiting for a reply. I just get a burning sensation when I pass urine And pubic pain down there or mostly in the rectum as if something is inside. Lets hope the blocks give me relief they said to wait for 3 weeks and see the results. I hopI feel that is a good sie it works like last time I cant remember how long it took to feel better the last time i took a nerve block I think it was after 2 to 3 weeks. right now I am not going to try trigger points I just want the nerve to settle first as i had a big flare up after the block. I hope thats a good sign that the block went well and the steroids hit the pudendal nerve.
from my symtoms what do you feel it is just a bad flare up or another entrapment?

Mahzi, how long has your pain been back? Maybe if you quit sitting and are very careful for a few weeks or months it will calm down. Hopefully you will hear from Dr. Bautrant soon and he can give you a better opinion than I can on whether this is a flare-up or a new entrapment.

Your e-mail address has been edited out now. Make sure your private mailbox is not full. I don't think this should affect your ability to send more private messages but it's something you could check just in case.

Good luck with trigger point -- is it trigger point injections or just trigger point physical therapy you are trying?

Thanks for replying to my message.
I just wanted to know if hte 3 tesla Mri can actually show the pudendal nerve and if there are any blocks or scar tissues etc.
Also one more question what are the side effects or down side of cutting the sacro tuberous ligament. as Dr. Beco wrote that he now feels it is necessary to cut the ligament to get good and lasting results.
I have not heard from Dr. bautrant I think it will be better for me to call him as he takes too long to reply to emails.
Yes after watching Dr. becos video and the bad effects of sitting with this problem I am sitting very little and using a cut out 6 inch high density foam. I hope it settles down.

The 3 T MRI can show some things such as scar tissue and I've heard some people mention that it shows the nerve if it's done the way Dr. Hollis Potter does it but I don't know if that's true or not. Maybe some members who have had the 3T MRI done can answer that question. But I don't know how the doctors in India do it. The best thing would be to ask them.

I heard back from Truthseeker and this is the information he gave me:

Also meet Dr. Ram Mohan(radiologist) at vijaya diagnostics and request him to prepare the report as he is an expert for pelvis anatomy. Although 3T MRI must be available in Delhi also, she will just need to search for it on the internet."

Some people have no problems after the sacrotuberous ligament is cut. Some people say they have developed new pain from SI joint dysfunction after having that ligament cut. So, maybe it depends on the person.

I have not started trigger point till now as i want to see the feects from the block its been 9 days now. i get a lot of burning after urinating and it takesawhile to settle down. i have stoped taking gabapentin today due to the allergy so have to give it a break til allergy settles down. most frustrating. i called dr. bautrant yesterday 3 times his receptionist tried to put me through then she said he is not taking any calls i explained my problem to her about my pain etc but she said to email him which i told her i did but got no reply. she said he is going out of staation so to call on the 8th of Nov. Most frustrating.
can you tell me if they cut the sacro tuberous ligament what are the side effects. Linkey told me burning in the urine could be due to the dorsal nerve I am very worried. yes I am taking your advice and lying down completely no pressure on the nerve that is why i am not doing trigger point right now.
Pls let me know about the side effects of cutting the sacro tuberous ligament

The side effect that I have heard of from cutting the sacrotuberous ligament is sacro-iliac joint pain and dysfunction which often has symptoms of lower back pain.

I had burning with urination but never had the dorsal nerve release surgery so I don't think you can conclude that only a dorsal nerve entrapment can cause burning with urination.

It sounds like Dr. Bautrant is a very busy guy. I'm sorry it's taking so long to get a hold of him. Hopefully you will be able to talk to him when he gets back to Aix.
