Good news that you're speaking with Dr Andrew! I forgot about ESWT, ooops.

And yes, as has been said, people do get better, the surgery can be very successful. Celeste is the first one who comes to mind. Also larry19555. And Violet is 80% better, I think she says, and nervyjoe also put his improvement at 80%. I think I'd put my improvement at about 80%, too - I really am a lot better than I was.

I think that we all know how you feel with regard to having your life taken away, it is horribly hard to deal with this, particularly difficult right at the beginning I think, before anything has started to help. Once something starts to help then (I sincerely hope) you will begin to feel like you have a measure of control back again.
