Hi-
I too have one sided foot pain, on and off. To me it feels like sciatic type searing nerve pain, but it's not down the back of my leg (thank goodness).
It's usually across the top of my foot, and sometimes my foot feels sort of numb. If I put a micro wave heat pack on it, it usually helps it go away?

I have had other "strange" nervy feelings, and of course I have central sensitization burning pain in both of my legs.
I just try to keep moving, stretch a bit, walk some.... and I'm still hoping to find the right combo of meds for me. So far, my latest combo of Lyrica and gabapentin isn't working at all.
It's almost hard to know if these meds aren't working for me, or I'm just getting worse. I'm very sad lately
My PT tells me I'm just not a classic PN person, I don't know if that's good or bad.

NYT - you should have been a doctor, good explanation!

deBBieW--Thanks for your reply and interpretation of toe pain being of searing nerve pain, one sided, sounds like me If my pelvic pain is resolved, my big toe pain is. My use of gabapentin is for pain and spasms. I find I must maintain my base level daily for if I lower it by a few 100mg it catches up to me. Unfortunately my Mg. intake has been going up. I don't use Lyrica. You state you were told that you are not "classic", I have been told similar. Try to have a nice day .holmb

Just wanted to say I also have foot pain, like pins and needles or maybe you might call it numbness in the soles of my feet, left more than right, which is where my pain seems to be the worst at, besides the middle, that is, of course....I haven't had that symptom for very long, maybe a couple of months, since my PNE or whatever it is has gotten sooo bad....
