Hi Egley, and everyone,
Just checking in to see how you doing with the Movantic and if u are still using it?
I can see from ur info that you have more opiod in your med regimen than myself. I use one opiod in my pump and p'rbly got into a bad habit of using laxatives more often than needed; my fist doctor who prescribed urged me to be vigilant about preventing constipation. Just wondered how it worked out for you, and if you and or anyone else using it.
As I mentioned in my other post I used it for several months then gave it up as still had to add in a laxative.. This was prbly due to my system etc.
I want to give it another try however,so I thought Id ask folks on the boards.
There are some general reviews of the Movantik on the internet but they are mixed and not much info.
I find that we are on our own with resolving this issue of preventing constipation with pain meds, since we all take different things amts etc and
I haven't as yet been able to get any general advice from my medical folks..
