No secret here, Ali hit the nail on the head. :D We must thank him! He did mention he is experiencing problems with email though. As for Dr. Beco, email works best with "short" being the key. After that he provided me with his personal number and I got to speak with him for 20min after hours, class act.
Glad you were able to get through, Paul. So I assume you called him during the hours Ali posted. Is the phone # listed on our website current then? Phone number: 04 42 37 38 07 Thanks,

Violet

PaulSa wrote:Don't rule out the European Dr.'s, both Dr. Beco and Bautrant took the time to personally speak with me on the phone and both seemed to be very knowledgeable and caring. The average wait time for either one would be September or October for consult and surgery if required in one visit. Good luck.

PaulSa, how does the insurance work in Europe?
Michaela, I had to pay Dr. Bautrant's team cash and then submit it to my insurance company in the US. Unfortunately, they did not pay because they said the TIR approach as done by Bautrant is experimental because there is only one peer-reviewed publication on it. But, I know another woman whose insurance did cover Bautrant's surgery so you would need to check with your insurance company on whether they would pay for surgery overseas.

Thanks Paul. I think the number we have up there doesn't include the long distance country code.
