Thanks for the link, gjones. I have not read that study before, although I did know that some researchers were exploring stem cells as a treatment option. My sense (from following what is happening on the forum and reading a couple of other articles) is that the stem cell treatment has generally not been effective, but others who have been following the treatment more carefully may know more.

Maybe it will cost a lot less in future. Reading this, I wonder how some of these docs justify their charges.
