PN Symptoms and LEG BURNING after a fall

Post by Cisco2018 »

I am new to the forum and also new to the DX of pudendal neuralgia. I fell down a flight of stairs last summer. Pain in the PN region was followed by leg pain and burning. Has anyone else had a trauma, or not had trauma, in addition to PN symptoms also had neuropathic pain in the lower extremities? My pelvic pain doctor noted that is is due to upregulation of the CNS which causes excitability in the nervous system and produces pain in other parts of the body. My orthopedist has diagnosed me with a different DX of sacral plexopathy and PN, basically the fall directly damaged the nerves in my sacral plexus (which do go to the lower extremity) rather than this indirect upregulation of neuropathic pain from a primary pudendal nerve site.

Anyone have any info to share? thank you kindly.
