I went to see them and they seem very professional, but never had the pudendal decompression surgery because the bill they sent me for it was $280,000 USD X.X

So now I am likely to have surgery with Dr. Bollens in Belgium for 28,000 Euros

Tompster, with the institute for advanced reconstruction, do you if they simply decompress the nerve or do they try to disconnect? I have heard of some surgeons trying to disconnect the nerve at the perineal branch which sounds incredibly stupid to me.
Is there method TG ?

According to their website:

https://www.advancedreconstruction.com/ ... procedures

"During the procedure, surgeons address areas where the nerve may be compressed or irritated by surrounding tissues, ligaments, or anatomical structures. By surgically decompressing these points of pressure, particularly in areas such as Alcock's canal or between the sacrotuberous and sacrospinous ligaments, pudendal neuralgia decompression helps restore normal nerve function and reduce the patient’s pain signals in that area."

It doesn't sound like they disconnect the nerve. I agree with you - disconnecting the nerve sounds stupid.

Ahh darn I guess I am late for the cheaper surgery aha. And I never heard of a doctor cutting a branch of the pudendal nerve off. That sounds insane. I know sometimes they cut ligaments, but not branches of the nerve.

Yeah Bollens jacked up his prices in the last 2 years to be approximately 8 times as expensive
