I had a spinal cord implantation for my pudendal nerve almost 2 months ago, and I still don't have enough benefits, I still live lying down, because I suffer standing and sitting. My foot is also affected. I have not had pudendal nerve surgery. I would like to know if people waited a long time to get results from the stimulation? thank you very much, I am very nervous

Often they do a trial first to see if it's going to work, so my understanding is that you should get relief soon with the trial if it's going to help, but I haven't tried one myself.

Please can you tell us who implanted your stimulator in France? It’s always good to hear of centres of implantation.

I have had a stimulator for 17 years, with a trial initially of six weeks.
I felt the improvement three weeks after the trial, however it did take about three months after the final implant to feel the benefits that I have felt since then.
It can take time for your brain and nerves to adjust to the sensation of the stimulator.
Have you returned to your doctor and asked them to adjust your settings?
Which model stimulator do you have?
I have just had my third battery implanted in Belgium.
I now have a Medtronic Inceptiv.
