I know Dr. Bautrant has done dopplar studies in the past but I don't know of any other docs who do them. My understanding is he did them to assess the blood flow because the nerve typically runs alongside the blood vessels, so if the blood vessels were compromised, it was likely the nerve was also. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone in the US who does dopplar ultrasound on the pudendal blood vessels. Some of them use ultrasound for various procedures -- I guess you could ask if they could assess your artery using ultrasound.
