In my first meeting with Dr. Bollens, he suggested I try taking 5mg of Cialis/Tadalafil daily, to alleviate pain/discomfort in my pudendal area.
He wasn't sure exactly why it helps reduce many patients' pain, but he theorized that some people's pain is due to the nerve being "ischemic" - not having enough blood flow.
Taking Cialis increases blood flow to this area, helping to nourish and calm the nerve.
Amazingly, after a few days, I did notice a significant reduction in my discomfort, and the nerve felt less 'contracted'.
I recommend giving this a try.
Take Cialis (Tadalafil) Daily
Re: Take Cialis (Tadalafil) Daily
Glad to hear Cialis is helping you. What Bollens says about why it works makes a lot of sense.
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

He also recommended it post-op to me and it did help.
