Hi Mulan,
I stayed with my friends in New Jersy in the Parsippanny area and took a 30 minute bus to Port Authourity New York City from Where I took a cab.Search for hotels in the Parsippanny areas and they would be much cheaper and then you can take a bus to NYC.

I am not so sure how famliar you are with thhe tri-state area.

Kind Regards,
Ali

In New York r New Jersey.

If you plan to stay in New Jersey, then Newark airport. It it's New York then LaGuardia Airport or JFK are the best.LaGuardia Airport is closer to Manhattan. You can also take a hotel in Astoria,New York and then take a subway to HSS.

Looks like a nice spot, ajirish! It's also not too far from an awesome vegan restaurant on 3rd ave called the Candle Cafe where my husband and I had a wonderful meal a few years ago. Gosh, the thought of spending a few days in NYC is very appealing!
Athlete until pain started in 2001. Diagnosed with PN in Nov. 2010. Probable cause: 3 difficult labors, 5 pelvic surgeries for endometriosis, and undiagnosed hip injuries. 60% better after 3 rounds of shockwave therapy in Cornwall, Ontario (Dec - Feb/12). 99% better after bilateral hip scopes for FAI and labral tears (April and July/12). Hi Paula, it needs two weeks. I didn't ask for the rate since my insurance pay it. M

Mulan - if you go on the website for HSS they have a link to a hotel called The Belvedere. I think that's the name of it, and maybe they give special rates for HSS hospital patients.

You should definitely look into priceline.com
My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.
