As a nurse practicing for 17 years, I find that most doctors really don't care. I"m making a generalization, just on MY experiences of taking care of patients and being a staff nurse, a house supervisor and charge nurse. We are the only advocates for ourselves. Let's continue getting educated, educating others and taking care of each other. Physicians and many practitioners are metaphorically punching in day after day and only worrying about the income at the end of the day. They are not lying in bed thinking about us and our problems.

Sorry for my pessimistic attitude, but I have worked with hundreds of doctors over the years and have formed my own opinion.
