Hi Helen, Yes, I think laughter is a great, natural medicine. Do you know why PNE stinks? Because it gets on your nerves. Get it? Gets on your nerves... Just gave you some natural medicine. LOL :)

Very witty Shawn!!

Laughter is a great way to distract from this pain.....I try to watch funny movies when i am feeling overcome by my pain and while it doesnt take away the pain it certainly helps me feel better in myself.
PNE started 2003 following Vaginal Hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and right oophorectomy; eventually after many tests had BilateralTG surgery Nantes 2004; following this tried many other treatments including 7 day epidural, ketamin infusions to no avail; Trialed and was implanted with a Neurostimulator in 2007- Dr Van Buyten Belgium, this has enabled me to manage my pain much better.

Laughter is definitely cheaper and you don't have the cost or side effects of pharmaceuticals. I sometimes wish I was a funnier person so that I could make myself laugh more often. I just surround myself with funny friends. They always make me laugh and I love them for it. And, of course, buying them dinner is sometimes cheaper than paying the doctor's copay health insurance.
