I had some hydro therapy sessions. I didnt feel any pain at all inside the water and was able to do the exercises, the warm water was very soothing. However I liked swimming better than hydrotherapy because hydrotherapy costed me a lot 60$ per session and also I didnt like the stretching exercises. Later had muscle pain from all these but felt less stiffness in my body. I think hydrotherapy is good and try to see how you feel after a few sesssions. My therapist insisted me to do all the exercises but I did only the ones I was comfortable with.
