Vaginal Neurontin

My Gyn prescribed me vaginal neurontin cream 50 mg/gm 2x/d which is something used for Vulvodynia patients with some success. I have/had been diagnosed with Vulvodynia but my symptoms are really due to a Left Pud. Neuralgia. I see many people are on oral Neurotin but wondered if others had had it vaginally and their experience.

Hey Ginger,

I used topical neurontin (gabapentin) on the vulval skin for a period of about 3 months. I too have been diagnosed with Vulvodynia, but myself, suspect PN and am in the process of seeking a proper diagnosis. Unfortunately I found the cream to be of no use whatsoever.
