All from one fall on my back?

Post by river133 »

This is what some one questioned me about today. Why are there sometimes people out there that seem to know so much more about this when they have not experienced this.?I did fall on my back 11 or 12 years ago. Damaged my piriformus muscle ! continued to cause fibrosis through the years damaging sciatic, pudendal, pfcn and one other. The nerves were compressed against my pelvic bone.
They are now decompressed, but then you know how speedy that works.
To top all of this off,I have fluid on my knee ,it hurts ,like really hurts. Sharp pain. I have had steroid shots the past few years but are no longer working. Osteoarthritis. Oh lord,I do not want a knee replacement. I have put on 10 lbs.,since I have not been able to walk. It is the one thing that I looked forward to. Thank you for letting me whine on here. I don't feel I am allowed to do that after 5.5 years, but then that may be a good thing. Deep down,I still have hope, but at 76 this may very well be with me for quite some time. Do I hope?
Last Sun. Eve I was relaxing on the couch and I felt absolutely no pain anywhere.
I thought I was in heaven. I mentioned it on fb and everyone thought I was all better. I made copies of Amanda's letter to pass around... Amanda did a magnificent job .Off to sleep..
Surgery Jan.05 2011 TG with Dr Antalok. Dr.Chambi May of 2012 showed injury from a fall on back, 11 years ago. My piriformis muscle caused a large amount of fibrosis .My sciatic nerve was growing through the piriformis muscle which caused a bifid p.muscle. . Dr Chambi decompressed the sciatic, pudendal, pfcn ,and peroneal nerves. I hope to have a nuerostimulator put in to help with the sciatic pain that never goes away. Most days are better with the pudendal if I do not sit at all.
