Pain lotion formula recommendation

Hi everyone,
I'm active on 3 different forums: vulvodyniasupport, pudendalhope and Ic-network since we all have similar pain patterns (wither vulva, bladder or vaginal pain etc)
I found a lady with PN pain who had relief with a special pain lotion compounded by her doc: I quote
"I have had IC/PFD since a nasty spinal surgery in 2005. Two surgeries, 30+ procedures, multiple specialists and medications later, I've finally found a medication that helps me.
It is a combination of drugs that you can use vaginally. Each use is better than receiving a pudendal nerve block or any other injection that I've had. My pain doctor thought I should try it (as everything else had failed) and I've slept all night for the last three weeks. Formerly, I would only get a few hours in total due to waking up in agony and be unable to return to sleep. I'd also be in constant pain during the day - especially after voiding. No longer as the pain cycle has been broken.
The medication combo is as follows:
5% Ketamine
6% Gabapentin
3% Amitriptyline
3% Mefenamic Acid
1% Bupivacaine
My pharmacist compounded it into a lotion inside of a pump bottle. I press the pump so the medicine goes into a large needle-less syringe, put the plunger back in (like the ones used for drawing children's liquid medicine) and inject it into the vagina as you would a yeast treatment. This can also be used rectally. Either way, they both get into the bloodstream within minutes.
I've tried taking many strong oral versions of the medications above (as well as morphine, hydrocodone, neurontin, valium, etc) but received very little relief that was short lived. However, put them together and get them near the pudendal nerve and it works SO much better! Even instills couldn't touch the pain the way this has. In fact, instills caused more pain when the numbing wore off."
I hope this helps someone here.
all the best you guys
