Have you read this book or are you going to Read it Cora ?

The comment about the cynical observer mentioned in the book caught my eye - having filled in pain scale forms at the clinic i have found that these forms can also be interpreted differently than you expect when you get a letter back after an appointment. I stopped filling in one part.

Distress is handled by a different department and you only get to it if you show signs of any distress at an appointment - at least that is only how i got to see the Pain Psychologist - i broke down when i saw the clinic physio one time.

I have tended to view things as a war on the pain - battle on, put on a brave face - i will get through it - it's not the right way though is it ?
