Health Organization for Pudendal Education

I was diagnosed with pudendal nerve damage. I underwent the back shots, which gave me relief for several days. More than a month has passed and now I have numbness down both legs and in my feet, but the pain is still there - and bad. Has anyone experienced this??? I get pain mostly in rectum of all places. I have hyper excitability of the nerves in other areas that I can keep under control with amitryptyline and neurontin.

I read on here the other day that someone said they were cured. I wanted to ask how, but had to go through the registration process. Does anyone know how to cure this?

I was being prescribed opiates but now there's the new crackdown by the CDC and I underwent surgery and didn't get opiates, and was left in pain with NSAIDS that tore up my stomach. What was done to me was inhumane. What do they expect people in pain to do??? I am using infrared heat, but I keep it on all day and all night. I get exhausted from trying to cope with it every day.

If anyone knows how to cure this, please tell me.

Well, it would be nice if there was a cure but do you even know for sure what your diagnosis is yet? Were the injections in your lower back or in your buttocks? If you are having numbness in your legs you should check with your doctor on whether you might need an MRI to check and see what's going on.

Thanks Violet. Went to my doctor and he thinks something is wrong in my circulation and now have to undergo extensive testing.

I want to try RF - does anyone know if it works?

I can't get out of bed - I can't go anywhere to sit - can't tolerate it at all.

Some people have had success with pulsed radio frequency ablation. You can search for PRF on here and see what people have said about it. I think there are a few doctors in the country who do it so you might be able to find someone a reasonable distance from you, depending on where you live. I understand how you feel, not being able to do much.

I thought of purchasing a machine on my own - they sell them on ebay. I then read how some people had their face melted off with Thermage and other RF. If it did that to someone's face - I wondered what it would do to someone's pudendal nerve area.

I am concerned about getting worse.

Pulsed radio frequency ablation is done via needle and image guidance by a physician. An RF machine would be entirely different. I can't remember if anyone has ever posted about an RF machine on this forum.
