New Facebook Instant Chat Group for Pudendal Neuralgia

Post by shawnmellis »

Hi I am a regular member of this website and forum, but I am also a regular member on a Facebook support group for both men and women with Pudendal Neuralgia and Pudendal Nerve Entrapment. If you would like additional support and the ability to chat online instantly, you may also want to check out this group. The link to the Facebook group is called Pudendal Neuralgia Hope at http://www.facebook.com/groups/23690648 ... 486362666/ I actually run this support group as well. I also have a link to PudendalHope.com on this Facebook Group, for those seeking additional support and help. A lot of the people on this group are also on pudendalhope.com, but just wanted to share this with you all. Not everybody may like to join this group on Facebook, but it is a closed group, meaning, that not everyone can view any posts you make except for the members of the group, and they must request permission to join the group and they can be taken off the group at the administrators discretion. Again, this is not something everybody has to do, but if somebody is okay with the chance of other's possibly discovering their identity from Facebook as I am, then they can choose to. It is really a personal decision, but everybody should be aware that this is a closed group and you must request permission to join the group. You could also choose to make up a fake name on Facebook and then join the group if you somebody is concerned about someone discovering their identity. Everybody should understand the risks when you post any personal information anywhere on the internet and use their discretion.

Hello anyone who is out there. my name is Diana and have not written on here before. I have a long story as many of you do but this is not the place for telling you that. I just want to introduce myself and say that I just got off Facebook because it was keeping me from staying up with this group, the Interstitial Cystitis and Invisible Illness ones. these are more important but will say that we had a family "closed"group and it worked ok. But I think this is true of posting anywhere,"We thi k before we speak but not before we tweet" I hate that word tweet but it fit my feelings.
sorry to take long in writing I can only stand still for a short time past my q12hr meds. I posted my problem with
Sleep or how they lice during day when need to get off legs. I have spent many 16 Hr days walking around the house, outside and such.I often eat standing up. my left side is so sore, muscles, bones and skin.
I hope someoneout there can help me. will not be long on here again! diana

Hi Diana,

Welcome to the forum. I would be interested in hearing your story if you care to tell it but if not, we are here to offer support and hopefully you will find some answers for your situation.

Best,

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
