PN Specialist in Cleveland Ohio Area Needed!

Post by Thunderman69 »

Hi Folks,

I am relatively new to the site so please excuse me if I posted this Thread in the wrong forum. I also looked through the list of PN aware doctors on here and I didnt see anyone listed in Cleveland Ohio area.

If anyone knows of a PN specialist in Northeast Ohio I would greatly appreciate the information. I have a real good pain management doctor that is able to perform pudendal nerve blocks but thats as far as he goes. He is by no means a specialist in PN and he readily admits that. He is however a very caring, compassionate human being so if there is anyone in my neck of the woods that needs a good pain doc I would be happy to PM you his contact info. I need someone that can look at my Potter MRI and go through all my other records, and list of symptoms that knows what they are talking about. I do have an appointment with the Cleveland Clinic on Feb 15 with an Interventional Radiologist that specializes in Pelvic vascular issues ( thanks Meliora!). The Cleveland Clinic is known to be one of the most advanced health systems in the world... But unfortunately, at least from what I have heard, they really dont have anything to offer when it comes to Pudendal pathologies....

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks

~Matt

Inconclusive MRI, but finally diagnosed with PN in 2013. Boston Scientific SCS implant surgery done on May 3, 2013.. SCS Implant no longer effective in relieving pain. Condition has deteriorated rapidly since a fall off a ladder in March 2014 (suffered trimalleolar fracture of right ankle). Surgery Consult with Dr. Conway scheduled for June 4. 2015.

Thanks.

What do you know then about anywhere in Ohio or the surrounding states. :D Like many of us, I cant sit for more than 10 minutes so traveling is going to be very difficult, meaning someone will need to drive me while I lay down in the back of whatever vehicle I plan on taking. Flying is just gonna be out of the question.

Hi Matt,
NYT is correct. To the best of our knowledge, there's no one in the Ohio area. If you go to our Home Page and click on Physicians (on the left), it'll give you a listing of PN Specialists by State. Does your PM have any recommendations for you?
Kind regards,
Karyn
