Total knee replacement Oct 3rd.

Post by river133 »

Well all of the nerves on my right side ,waist down are having one heck of a meeting. The surgeon told me after surgery that he gave my sciatic and femoral nerves blocks. It surprised me that he would do that. I asked why and he said"I am aware of your problems and they were there so I gave each of them a block. Nice of him,,it just did not have good results.

The damaged nerves that I do have are working on getting well.Any one with some easy and quick tips. Hope he did not damage the peroneol nerve that Dr Chambi decompressed.
Keep all of us strong. Ellie
Surgery Jan.05 2011 TG with Dr Antalok. Dr.Chambi May of 2012 showed injury from a fall on back, 11 years ago. My piriformis muscle caused a large amount of fibrosis .My sciatic nerve was growing through the piriformis muscle which caused a bifid p.muscle. . Dr Chambi decompressed the sciatic, pudendal, pfcn ,and peroneal nerves. I hope to have a nuerostimulator put in to help with the sciatic pain that never goes away. Most days are better with the pudendal if I do not sit at all.
